The Visual Art program at Westwood consists of ​Art 1, Art and Media Communications, Drawing, ​Painting, Ceramics and Sculpture classes, as well ​as IB Art, AP Studio Art, and AP Art History. Our ​visual art classes promote excellence and each ​student's individual artistic potential. We believe ​that an art education can enrich a student's ​quality of life by encouraging creativity, higher-​order thinking, problem-solving skills, application ​skills, and many other characteristics that benefit ​the life of a student.
